Emerson-Williams PTO

WHO WE ARE

About the PTO

The Emerson-Williams Parent Teacher Organization (EWPTO) is a non-profit organization established to serve the families of Emerson-Williams and to help support the students, staff and curriculum. EWPTO takes a very active role in the enrichment activities of the school, while encouraging a feeling of community spirit among students, staff and parents. EWPTO organizes and mobilizes the many parents that, through their volunteerism, make an active contribution to the school community. Funds to support all EWPTO-sponsored programs and purchases are generated through voluntary membership dues and parent-coordinated fundraisers.

How Can I Help?

There are many ways to get involved and volunteer your time with EWPTO. You can serve on the Board, sign up as a Committee Chairperson, or attend an occasional meeting. A great variety of volunteer opportunities are available with a wide range of positions available to fit your schedule and areas of expertise. We have everything from leadership roles to set up/clean up at events. Many events require volunteers at tables, baking, making photo copies, or simply making telephone calls. Volunteer as many or as few hours as you would like. Our major fundraisers and socials such as the Book Fair, Talent Show, Strawberry Festival, and others require participation many in our school community. The more volunteers, the easier the task!

The PTO is a parent volunteer organization; we need YOUR participation, ideas and support. If you have any questions, comments or concerns about EWPTO, please feel free to contact the EWPTO Board, or submit questions and comments in writing via the EWPTO mailbox in the Emerson-Williams main office or the Contact Us page of our website.
